Linda Ann Iverson, 86, of Duluth Minnesota passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024 at Edgewood Vista.
Linda was born in Duluth to Theodore and Leona Bielli on May 3, 1938. She grew up in the Woodland neighborhood and always enjoyed sharing stories of her adventures on Minneapolis Avenue. She married Roland O. Iverson on September 12, 1955. Together they raised four children in the Norton Park neighborhood. Linda worked in the produce department of Super One Foods for many years where the customers knew her by name. She woke before the sun rose six days a week to arrive before the store opened. She was a member of the VFW Choir. She spent her free time enjoying family and friends. She especially loved hosting family gatherings, where they created lasting memories to be shared for generations to come. Linda was always there when you needed her even when you didn't think you did. She offered rides to friends and neighbors who had appointments or needed to go grocery shopping.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Leona Bielli; sisters, Phyllis (John) Gorny and Mary Jo Bielli; brother, Theodore "Bud" (Kay) Bielli; and daughter-in-law, Paula Iverson.
Linda is survived by her son, Roland "Lee" (Susan) Iverson; daughters, Valdean "Val" (Steve) Lundberg, Wanda (Irvin) Otradovec, and Kris (Ron) Godden; grandchildren, Rosalie, Stacy, Richard, Raydean, Dawn, Michelle, Jean, Tim, Monique, Eric, Amber, Katie, Justine; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Bielli of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Edgewood Vista Memory Care Unit for the years of quality care and genuine love given to our mom/granny and to Caring Edge Hospice for the extra care and support given to mom/granny and us during her last weeks.
Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Sunrise Funeral Home 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown Minnesota 55811. Private burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery.
