Angier, NC: Mrs. Linda Sue Jones Johnson, age 79, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Emerald Health and Rehab. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00PM-5:00PM, Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the home of Sharon and Donald Altman 148 Willowcroft Court, Dunn, NC 28334.
Mrs. Johnson was born on November 14, 1943 in Harnett County, NC to the late Park and Thelma Tart Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Devon Ray Johnson, grandson, Brandon Langdon, and a sister, Clara Mae Weaver. Mrs. Johnson retired from Wal-Mart and was a homemaker. She loved gardening, flowers, traveling, and her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Altman (Donald) of Dunn, NC, and Charlotte Gregory (Tony Pittman) of Angier, NC; grandchildren, Dexter Pittman, Zachary Pittman, Candace Altman Johnson, and Seth Altman; great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Leanna, Rylan, Lila, Reagan, Bailey and Hazel; and one niece, Pat Weaver Hobbs.
