Linda Kittleson Obituary

Linda Kittleson (Smallback) passed away on March 22, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family after a short battle with cancer. Born on July 19, 1945, Linda's journey was marked by resilience, love, and devotion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gail "Kit" Kittleson, her parents, three sisters, and a brother.
Linda's legacy lives on through her cherished children: Neil (Melissa), Kyle (Jim Sorg), Erica (Patrick Guldan), and Sarah (Ryan Gillespie). She was a doting grandmother to Zachary and Andrew Kittleson, Molly and Alex Guldan, and Aiden Gillespie. Linda's nurturing spirit extended to her many nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart.
A celebration of Linda's life will take place on April 6 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Chateau Michele (2231 44th Street NW Canton, Ohio 44709) where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and share stories of her kindness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Stark County Library at starkcountylibraryfoundation.org or the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank at akroncantonfoodbank.org.
Linda's life was a testament to love, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

I was a high school classmate of Linda's and her husband Gail's, in East Aurora, NY - a small town in the snow belt of western New York, and I have very fond memories of them both!! Also, Linda became part of a monthly zoom meeting with other classmates, and we all enjoyed learning about her life with Gail and their children. She will deeply missed by our group of EA friends!! Linda and I became instant friends when we moved in to her neighborhood two years ago. We instantly bonded over reading and movies and started attending movies and dinner together every Monday. We would always try a new restaurant. I was always impressed with Linda`s knowledge of the actors and their histories, and the authors in their history. Admired her brain! I truly enjoyed being with her! My condolences to all of her family and friends
