Obituary of Linda S. Lewis
Linda Susan Lewis, age 75, passed away at Cooper Hospital in Camden with her son William and sister-in-law Mary Lewis by her side. Born in Newark, New Jersey to William and Edna Tasselmyer, Linda grew up in Yardville, NJ but lived in Vineland, NJ most of her life where she met the love of her life Cornelius "Neil" Lewis. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Neil in 2021.
She was a 1966 graduate from Hamilton High West. She worked for Prudential in Millville and was a teacher's aide for Vineland High School for 25 years until she retired in 2018.
Linda was a kind-hearted person who always cared about others. She was the life of the party and always had on a blinking necklace and a ring on every finger. You could recognize and hear her laugh from anywhere. She loved going to Myrtle Beach, SC on vacation and down to Wildwood and Ocean City every summer with her two daughters, Tina and Renee also her grandson, Joshua Lewis. Linda attended every one of her son Bill's and grandson Anthony's baseball games. She was the glue that held us all together and the lighthouse that always directed us back home if we ever lost our ways. Linda and her beloved husband Neil who were married for 50 years, loved going down to the casinos, out to dinner, on cruises, and especially to the holiday shows. Linda loved watching The New York Giants games on Sundays and going to church. She attended Connection Church in Vineland, NJ. Linda always made time for her friends and family to go out to lunch or out to the casinos with her sister Nancy Dale. Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and aunt that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son William "Bill"; daughters, Tina and Renee; grandsons, Anthony and Joshua the light of her life, all of Vineland; sister, Nancy Dale of Williamstown, NJ. Along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and burial were private.

Dear Bill, Tina and Renee,
Your mom worked in my classes at Vineland High as my assistant for quite a few years. She was dependable, kind and brought a spirit of brightness and genuine caring. The students loved her.
She was a very friendly person to work with and we also shared many laughs.
Take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
John

Dear Bill, Tina and Rene,
I am saddened to hear of your mom´s passing. Take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
Linda was my teacher assistant for several years at Vineland High. She was dependable, helpful and brought her brightness and cheerfulness to class with her. The students loved and respected her.
Outside of the classroom, she was friendly, kind and we shared many laughs.
She will be missed.
With my utmost sympathy,
John Fagotti
