Linda Maxie, 82, of Rosebud, Arkansas, passed away on August 2, 2025, in her home, with loved ones by her side.

Linda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loving on her grandkids. She adored her family.

Born on December 21, 1942, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Linda was the daughter of James and Jewel Fry. She spent her early years in Walnut Ridge before building a life rooted in family and community across various parts of Arkansas.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Maxie, and her parents.

Her legacy continues through the lives of her four children: Kathryn (Joe) Bass of Black Rock; Bobby (Ladonna) Maxie of Black Rock; Nina (Kevin) Adcock of Rosebud; and Michael (Amber) Maxie of Tumbling Shoals. Along with her 13 grandkids, 30 great grandkids, and 14 great great grandkids.

She took great joy and happiness in spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her spirit lives on in everyone who knew and loved her. She lives on in the many cherished memories we hold dear.

She will be remembered with love by those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at New Life Church 1540 Bypass Rd, Heber Springs 72543.
