Our beloved wife, mother, and sister, Linda Fae Marsing Maxwell, 79, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Linda was born on February 25, 1945, to Donald Carl and Elorn Krebs Marsing in Ogden, Utah. She attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ben Lomond High School.
She worked for many years at Hill Air Force Base in their procurement office.
Linda married her lifelong sweetheart, William Leslie Maxwell, on November 6, 1964, in Ogden, Utah.
She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was endowed in the Ogden LDS Temple. Linda was an excellent housekeeper and maintained an immaculate and orderly home for her family and the many friends and extended family members who would visit her. She welcomed any and all of her husband’s and her son’s friends who would enter into the walls of her home. She was especially fond of her many nieces and nephews and would remember them on their birthdays and at Christmas time. She showed forth genuine love, was honest in all of her dealings and was without guile.
Linda enjoyed the outdoors, loved her flower garden, and especially the times she was able to visit the family retreat at Bear Lake.
Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill; her son, William Lance Maxwell; and two brothers, Carl Neil (Lorene Ward) Marsing and Dennis Roberts (Laraine Wardell) Marsing. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Carla Maxwell; her parents; and her grandparents.
To honor Linda’s request, the family will hold a private graveside service at Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
We would like to thank all of those who attended to her needs during the last few months.
We indeed love you and will miss you! Until we meet again!
