Linda L. McClung

Linda Lee McClung, born July 2, 1958, passed away peacefully on November 22nd, surrounded by the love she gave so freely throughout her life. She was 67 years old.

Linda was the very definition of a loving mother, devoted wife, proud grandma, and loyal friend. She had a gift for making everyone feel at home. If you stepped through her front door, you weren’t a guest, you were family. Her warmth, humor, and open-hearted spirit drew people in and made them feel safe, cared for, and deeply loved.

Linda leaves behind her husband, Olin McClung, and her children: Logan Engle, Breanna Engle, Jeffrey McClung, Aiesha McClung, and Derreck McClung, each of whom carry pieces of her heart and her legacy.

She was Grandma to 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Nothing lit up her life more than watching them grow, laugh, and fill her home with energy and love.

Linda taught her family many things, but her greatest lesson was simple and profound: love with your whole heart. She practiced it daily in the way she welcomed strangers, supported her loved ones, and created a home where everyone felt like they belonged. Her love was wholehearted, unconditional, and abundant, and it shaped every life it touched.

Linda’s family and friends will forever remember her open arms, her generous spirit, and her ability to make every person feel seen and valued. Her legacy is one of love, full, brave, and overflowing.

Linda’s memory will continue to live on in every heart she touched.

A memorial gathering for Linda will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250.
