Linda, 65, of Exton, PA passed away on March 13 in her home.
She was born in Sellersville, PA to Carolyn (nee Bauer) and Walter Johnson Unruh.
Linda is survived by her husband Stephen; her sons, Brian and Jonathan (Kaitlin); and her siblings, Barbara Rice (Jacob), Susan Unruh, James Unruh (Beverly), and Mary Ellen Knudson (Richard) and "adopted" sister Henriette Lukens (Dale). She is predeceased by her sister Deborah Unruh.
She graduated from Pennridge High School and Drexel University before starting her career as a software engineer. After meeting Stephen, they moved to Massachusetts where Linda discovered the Bahá'í faith and owned and operated a health food store. After the births of their two sons, they moved back to Pennsylvania to raise their family.
Linda took pride in her community; she volunteered with several charitable organizations and drove a school bus. She was an avid card and board game player with her family and friends. She treasured being outside whether it was riding her bike, walking her dog, or just being in nature.
She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, a beloved sister, a dear friend, and a faithful Bahá'í. She will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday morning, March 18th, at 10am followed by her funeral service at 12pm at D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall at 2811 West Chester Pike, 19008. After the service, internment will be at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd. All are then invited to join the family for a meal.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory may be made online to the National Alliance on Mental Illness or the World Wildlife Foundation

I have no words of my own to thank God for the friendship of Linda so this prayr says it far better:

O my God, O Forgiver of sins and Dispeller of afflictions! O Thou Who art the Pardoner, the Merciful! I raise my suppliant hands to Thee, tearfully beseeching the court of Thy divine Essence to forgive, through Thy grace and clemency, Thy handmaiden who hath ascended unto the seat of truth. Cause her, O Lord, to be overshadowed by the clouds of Thy bounty and favor, immerse her in the ocean of Thy forgiveness and pardon, and enable her to enter that sanctified abode, Thy heavenly Paradise.

Thou art, verily, the Mighty, the Compassionate, the Generous, the Merciful. - `Abdu´l-Baha

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Linda was a treasure. I had the honor and pleasure of being part of her Baha'i community while she was in Milford, MA. She was a colorful collage of fun, kindness, quiet confidence, devotion to her Faith and family and just about any other quality I want to develop in myself.

My husband Russ and I visited Linda and her family a few years ago. She was proud of her beautiful home and so excited to show us her colorful, carefully tended gardens, talk about her latest ventures with the Bahai's in Penn. and share the latest about Steve, Brian, and Jonathan.

Linda was "the best" in so many ways. She lives in our hearts.
