Linda L. McLean, born on February 28, 1954, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at the age of 70. A resident of Killeen, TX, born in Burnet, TX, Linda was a devoted wife to her husband, John McLean, and a beloved mother, Nana, sister, and friend. Her warmth, compassion, and deep faith were the foundation of her life.

Linda found joy in the simple things – her love of reading, watching classic western TV shows, and her favorite color red, which reflected her vibrant personality. Central to her life was her faith in God, and her favorite Bible verse, Matthew 21:22, served as a guide: “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” She also found comfort in her favorite prayer: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

Her family was her greatest joy, especially her six grandchildren – Kesean Marsland, Jordin McLean, Heaven Garcia, Tazmine Miller, Jayden McLean, and Symphony McLean – whom she lovingly called her “rock.” Linda is survived by her husband, John Mclean; her children, Kisha Marsland, Cuney McLean and wife, Sherilyn McLean, and Jovan Miller; her sister, Beatrice Johnson; her cherished grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corrine and Bryant Yett, three sisters, and three brothers.
