We are saddened to announce the passing of Linda C. Meloon, a woman of compassion and resilience, on June 29, 2025. Born on July 31, 1953, in Leominster, MA, Linda lived a life that was vibrant, fulfilling, and full of love. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and an accomplished hairstylist who never failed to make the world a little brighter with her artistic flair and caring nature.
Linda was a gifted stylist, owning and operating her own hair salon, where she not only transformed locks but also touched hearts. She had a unique ability to connect with her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends, and her salon was a place where people felt welcomed, valued, and loved. Linda's love for creativity extended beyond her salon. She was an avid knitter, painter, and crafter, skills she used to create beautiful pieces of art that brought joy to those around her. As Maya Angelou once said, "You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have," - and Linda was a testament to this.
Beyond her professional achievements and hobbies, what mattered most to Linda was her family. She was a caregiver in the purest form, always putting others before herself. She leaves behind her daughter, Kelsey Cadran; son-in-law, Chad; two cherished grandchildren, Sawyer and Lydia, and her loving sister Carol DiSalvo-Enman. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Flora Arbo, her adoptive parents, Clare and Santo DiSalvo, and her devoted husband Scott.
Her legacy of love, compassion, and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Linda's life was a beautiful example of kindness in action, reminding us all of the power of a caring heart. As we remember Linda, we invite you to share your memories and photos on her memorial page. Your stories will serve as a comforting reminder of the wonderful woman she was and the extraordinary life she led.
