Linda Sue Miller, age 83, of San Angelo, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2025. She was born on November 21, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Hiram and Francis McNeal.

From an early age, Linda’s life was marked by her deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. She loved the Lord with all her heart and lived out her faith daily through service, kindness, and compassion. Her gentle spirit and unwavering devotion were a living testimony of God’s grace.

Linda married James A. Miller on May 31, 1964, and together they shared 61 years of marriage and ministry. As a faithful pastor’s wife, she supported James in every aspect of his calling, serving along side him and touching countless lives through prayer, encouragement, and steadfast love. Her quiet strength and servant’s heart reflected Christ in everything she did.

A graduate of Texas Wesleyan University in 1964, Linda devoted more than 30 years to teaching, pouring her heart into the lives of her students. After retiring from the classroom, she continued her ministry by teaching English as a Second Language to both children and adults. Linda viewed teaching not just as a profession but as a calling – an opportunity to love others as Christ loves us.

Linda’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. Whether in her church, her classroom, or her home, she shared the love of Jesus through her words, actions, and genuine care for others. Her life leaves a lasting legacy of faith, hope, and love that continues to inspire all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Francis McNeal; her brother, Jimmy McNeal, and her in-laws, Hershel and Marzelle Miller.

She is survived by her loving husband, James A. Miller; her sons, Doug Miller and Todd Miller (Amy) of San Antonio; and her grandsons, Mason Miller (Ella) of Charleston, South Carolina, and Holt Miller. She also leaves behind her beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, all of whom she deeply cherished.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Sara Cruz, Linda’s devoted caregiver, who lovingly cared for her over the past three years.

A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life and faith will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:30 AM at The Heights Church in San Angelo. A lunch reception will follow, and all are welcome to attend.

Linda’s greatest joy was knowing and serving the Lord. Her life was a reflection of His goodness, and her legacy of faith will continue to shine brightly through the lives of those she loved.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
