Linda Mundy Monroe, age 81, of Milton, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Mrs. Monroe was preceded in death by her parents, Ebb and Christine Browning Mundy; sisters, Judy Cook, Gwen Crane, Jerre Bloom. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don Monroe of Milton, GA; sons, Walter (Ginger) Monroe of Ellijay, GA, Matthew (Majdouline) Monroe of Milton, GA; grandchildren, Kellan Monroe, Skye Monroe, and Ian Monroe; brothers, Sammy (Kathy) Mundy of Buford, GA, Rev. Danny (Donna) Mundy of Gray, GA; sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Monroe) Hannah of Buford, GA, Judy (Charles) Perry of Suwanee, GA; brothers-in-law, Harold (Norma) Monroe of Buford, GA, Horace Cook of Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Monroe was born July 11, 1944 in Buford, GA. She was a 1963 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. Mrs. Monroe was an Executive Officer in the family business of Monroe Refrigeration Company in Milton, GA. Mrs. Monroe was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. She loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA, with Rev. Danny Mundy and Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, 5979 New Bethany Road, Buford, GA 30518 on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 following the 2:00 p.m. Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Projects at: www.woundedwariorsprojects.org. or The American Lung Association at: www.lung.org. In Memory of Linda Monroe.
