Linda Kay Morrison, age 73, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, February 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Morrison had a deep and unwavering love for Jesus. Her devotion was not only expressed in words, but in her actions through kindness, compassion, prayer, and a steadfast trust in His guidance. Her relationship with Him was the foundation of her strength.

Linda was a graduate of Jennings County High School. Professionally, Linda worked alongside her husband, Jim, at Bob Thomas Chevrolet in Brownstown for many years. In 1983, she and Jim then established Morrison Auto Tech in Brownstown, a business that continues to operate today.

Linda loved her family dearly, and she was in turn loved immensely by them. She especially loved traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also very supportive of her family, always making sure they had everything they needed. She had a passion for motorcycle riding with her husband and watching and attending Indy and NASCAR races. She also had a genuine passion for collecting Barbies, cherishing each doll as both a treasured keepsake and a reflection of her joyful spirit. In keeping with that love, she proudly owned Something Fun for Everyone, a beloved doll and toy store, for many years. Her dedication to her love for dolls led her to become certified in doll repair, skillfully restoring treasured dolls for collectors and children alike.

Born on August 17, 1952, in Seymour, Linda was the daughter of Kenneth “Doc” and Mary Alice (Pickett) Miles, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 14, 1969, at Scaffold Lick Baptist Church, in Blocher, she married James “Jim” Morrison, and he survives in Brownstown.

Survivors also include two sons: Jason (Jen) Morrison of Vallonia, and Mason (Mendy) Morrison of Lebanon; one daughter, Mindy (Ryan) Autry of Medora; eight grandchildren: Taelor (Alex) Caudill, Jackson Eads (Thom McMahon), Brett Morrison (Dr. Katelyn Fox), Jenni Morrison (Austin White), Hunter Eads, E.J. Autry, MacyRay Morrison, and Maclaylen Morrison; six great-grandchildren: Klaeton Caudill, Ollie Caudill, Hayden Caudill, KayliJo Caudill, Drake Morrison, and Dustin Morrison; one brother, Ron Miles; mother-in-law, Barbara Morrison; brothers-in-law: Jeff (Joyce) Morrison and Dave (Bobbie) Johnson; sister-in-law, Martha Myers; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was also preceded in death by an unborn daughter, Jennifer Kay Morrison; father-in-law, James Morrison; nephew, Jeffrey Miles; sisters-in-law: Betty Miles and Rebecca Baxter; and brothers-in-law: James Baxter, Ron Myers, and Steve Johnson.
