Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounChad Edward Moore Sr., 42, of Billings, Montana, formerly of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was born in Seymour, Indiana, on March 29, 1983, to Fawn Branum and the late Louis Moore. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Moore, and his grandparents, Elvie and Lucille Moore, Deanna Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Kendra Moore; mother and stepfather, Darrell and Fawn Branum; son, Chad Moore Jr; daughters, Sasha Moore, Ezmay Moore, Mavis Fawn Moore; stepchildren, Jasmine, Orion, Carter, Kamrin; brothers, Leon Moore, Tyler Branum, Travis Branum; sister, Casey Wakefield; granddaughter, Athena Moore-Knutson; grandfather, Bill Biehle; best friend, Dennis Fournier. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Chad was a wonderful person and was loved by many. He had a great sense of humor and was quick to make others laugh. He had a gift to troubleshoot and repair almost anything mechanical; vehicles, motorcycles, four-wheelers. In 2001, he graduated from Jennings County High Scool in North Vernon, IN as well as from the Southeastern Career Center in Versailles, IN from their Welding program. In 2014, he started Moore Services, a handyman business, in Billings, MT which he owned and operated for nearly 10 years. He took pride in his work and strived to please his customers. He loved being outdoors rather for work or pleasure. He much enjoyed fishing and camping. He will truly be missed by many.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Bramblett officiating.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Chad Edward Moore Sr.
