Linda Moss was a beautiful soul whose life was a living testimony of love, kindness, and service to others. She was truly one of God's special gifts to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda never met a stranger. From the very first hello, she made people feel like family. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and kind heart could brighten any room. She had a special way of making others feel seen, welcomed, and loved.
A faithful member and usher at Mt. Moriah Holiness Church, Linda greeted every person who entered the doors with joy and genuine care. She was affectionately known as "The Candy Lady" because she always carried a supply of candy for both children and adults-spreading sweetness in more ways than one.
Linda was a devoted and loving mother to her children, Jalen (Paris) and Jakyra. Her pride and joy were her precious grandchildren, Jillian and Ezra, whom she cherished deeply. Her love for her family was unwavering and visible in everything she did.
She had a special love for the Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on with excitement and loyalty. She also had a heart for giving and helping others, always willing to lend a hand, a kind word, or a prayer whenever someone was in need.
Linda was truly a friend to all. Her smile had the power to lift spirits, and her presence brought comfort, laughter, and peace. Her legacy of love, generosity, and faith will live on through her family, her church, and the many lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Sue Moss; her brothers, George Moss Jr.; and Jerry Black and her sisters, Elizabeth Moss and Joyce Ann Moss.
Linda leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Jalen (Paris) and Jakyra of the home; her precious grandchildren, Jillian and Ezra; her longtime close friend and the father of her children, Anthony Bailey; her loving siblings Carolyn (Brian) Rankin of Salisbury, Brenda (Barrett) Parker of China Grove, and Sherman Moss of Kannapolis; and her cherished childhood friend who was like a sister, Tanna Ikard; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, church family, and dear friends.
