Linda Louise Munyon

Mrs. Linda L. Munyon, age 76, of Allendale, MI, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023, in Grand Rapids, MI.
She was born on September 14, 1947 to Clifford and Betty (Brower) Brenner in Grand Rapids, MI. She graduated from South High School and Grand Rapids Community College, obtaining an Associates Degree. Prior to retirement, Linda worked as a bookkeeper for Smith Petroleum. After retirement, she used her accounting skills to help various small businesses. She was always eager to help family members at tax time.
Linda was an avid reader, over 100 books a year ! She also read the Scriptures daily and had personal devotions with Our Daily Bread. In addition of being a doting grandmother, her interests were crocheting and needle work, feeding the birds, taking walks and enjoying nature. She was also known for her cooking and baking, always willing to try new recipes. She enjoyed car rides with David in their Chevy Camaro T-Top, and motorcycle rides together. Her other interests included camping, bowling and her green thumb. Being a college sports fan, Linda watched MSU Basketball and always enjoyed the rivalry of U of M and Ohio State. Linda also journaled in her diary, writing daily entries for over 20 years.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Tim Greiner) Grey, her son, Andrew (Christina) Grey; two grandchildren, Ava Grey, Hannah Grey; sister, Lori Perkins; three sisters in law, Kathy Smith, Bette Bierling, Marianne Grey; aunt, Alyce Brower; her friend, Judy Ruso. She is also survived by many other Brower and Brenner relatives. She is also survived by her former husband, William Grey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Betty Brenner; husband, David Munyon; brother, Donald Brenner; sister in law Jane Grey.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe St., Rockford, Michigan. 49341.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, 5:00 pm at the Pederson Funeral Home, Rockford, Michigan, with Lt. Matthew Winters, of the Holland Salvation Army Corp. officiating.
