Linda Murphy Obituary
Linda Darlene Murphy, 58, of Oakland went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 6, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Born on January 22, 1966, in Oakland, she was the daughter of Vera and Robert Sines and Gerald Murphy.
Her cackling laugh was contagious, and her unconditional love was remarkable. She brought joy to each and everyone. She was your friend and you were hers. She will be lovingly remembered for saying "I still love ya!" no matter the situation or circumstance.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a large loving family and many special friends that are too numerous to mention. Because of her loving family, friends, and organizations like Special Olympics, Appalachian Crossroads sheltered workshop, MacMurray House group home, Peace Healthcare at Dennett Road, and Hospice of Garrett County, Linda was able to live her best life and we are all better because we had the gift of knowing her.
Family and friends will be received for a viewing at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and for the funeral service at the same location on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11 AM with Minister Brian Fike officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor Sines Cemetery on Swallow Falls Road immediately following the service.
