Linda Palmer Myers, age 65, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Berlin, Maryland. She was born in Denton, Maryland to the late Jack Palmer and Margaret (neé Kaufman) Palmer.
Linda studied Art at Western Maryland College (now named McDaniel College). She would go on to have a 30 year career in merchandising with Macy's, where she was known for her talent creating big beautiful displays. When she was 22, she met Bill Myers at the Hunt Valley Mall. He would become her beloved husband and companion for the next 42 years. Together they raised two children, Emily (Tobey) and Adam. Later in their marriage, once the kids were grown, Bill and Linda relocated to the beach - "Linda's happy place" - in Ocean City, Maryland. There, Linda worked as a volunteer coordinator and merchandiser at the Habitat for Humanity Restore, where she was a cherished colleague to everyone she worked with.
Linda brought her love of design and creativity to all aspects of her life. She had an eye for color and beauty, whether that was expressed through her career or in her home workshop where she enjoyed restoring furniture. Friends and family knew Linda to be vibrant and loving, with a true zest for life, an equally important love of relaxing, and a kind and welcoming spirit. She loved nothing more than making memories with her children and grandchildren, and spending time with both longstanding and newfound friends. This enormous loss is felt deeply by all those who loved her, and she will forever be in our hearts.
In addition to her loving husband, Linda is survived by her son, Adam Myers, daughter, Emily (Tobey) Myers, grandchildren, Ava and James, and daughter-in-law, Samantha Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Paula Palmer.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 5th, 2024 from 1-3pm at The Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, Maryland. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Linda's memory to Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County, 11307 Manklin Creek Road Suite 1 Berlin, MD 21811.

Linda was my supervisor for three years when I volunteered at the Worcester, Md. ReStore. She was a wonderful person and a joy to work for. Her death is a great loss to Habitat for Humanity and the entire community. My heart goes out to all her family and friends.

My first memory of Linda was in high school... I just thought she was so pretty and fun and talented... she had a silent elegance to her...
I seen her many years ago working in retail... as always she was a bright spot.... Rest easy dear friend
