Linda Overfield

Linda Schiller Overfield, 78, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away July 19 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She fought hard the final week to get herself back home to pass in the house her father built the year she was born.
Born in 1947 to John and Lillian Schiller, she spent her whole life in Cuyahoga Falls. After high school, she was a beautician until 1980 when she took over Falls Tool Rental after her fathers death. She was the owner for 45 years until her passing.
She leaves behind her husband Richard Perry, sons Thomas (Diane) and Jon (Carrie deceased). Her grandchildren Kyle, Alex (Emily) and Kara (Ryan), and great grandson Jay. A special thank you to her neighbor Teresa Noaker and Summa Hospice for all their help and support during this difficult time.
As per her request, there will be no services and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Summit County Human Society in Linda's name, as she never met a dog or cat she didn't love.
