Linda Lee Pennington passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Monterey Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born on February 24th, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio.
Linda attended Beechcroft High School, where she flourished in English. She was an avid reader and had a wonderful passion for music and singing. She had a deep and profound connection to her spirituality, one that brought her comfort and peace.
Preceded in death and beloved daughter of Marco and Anna Damiano. Her extraordinary spirit and strength will continue to live on in the lives of her devoted children, Harmony Johntson, Amanda Gunka, and Elizabeth Saunders. Her legacy lives on through her six grandchildren—Savannah, Jade, Sydney, Cynthia, Aiden, and Lillian.
Linda was the fourth of five siblings, survived by Catherine Korting, Judy (Phil) Sayers, and Lora Puluso, her twin, with whom she shared a rare and special bond. Linda is predeceased by her dearly departed brother, Marc Damiano, who passed away on September 5, 2022.
In celebration of her life, a visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. We will then proceed to the interment service at Northlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, located at 7060 OH-3, Westerville, OH 43082.
