Linda Elaine Penrod died on November 22, 2025. She was born on June 4, 1947 in Pensacola, Florida to Henry Blackman and Edith D. Enfinger. She was a resident of Okeechobee and attended More 2 Life Ministries. She loved Michael Jackson, The Beatles, and playing pool.
Ms. Penrod was preceded in death by her father, Henry Blackman; mother, Edith D. Enfinger; and nephew, Michael Lee.
She is survived by her son, Corey Penrod (Desiree) of Alabama; daughters, Michelle Penrod Thumma of Georgia and Cindi Penrod Hanner (Rich) of Texas; sister, Gay Wildes (Randy) of Alabama; grandchildren, Rebel Nicole Horvat (Brian) of Georgia, Savannah Dungan (Daniel) of Florida, Taylor Christensen, Alexi Stripling (Zach), Shaun Penrod, Emery Coleman of Florida, Jayden, Jaxon, and Avery Penrod of Alabama; great grandchildren, Leo and Willow Horvat, Abilene, Dillion, Amelia, and Everett Dungan, Cooper and Emmett Stripling, Kai, Meadow, and Piper Christensen.
Receiving of friends will be from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
