Phyllis Marie Fackler of Okeechobee, Florida passed away on November 13, 2025. She was born May 17, 1939 to Harry and Mabel (Maier) Rohrbaugh and attended school in Hamilton, Indiana. On June 8, 1957, she married Roger Fackler. They resided in Pleasant Lake, Indiana before retiring and moving to Okeechobee, Florida in 2004.
She was a busy woman, always tending to a garden or flower bed, canning, baking, and creating canvas yarn Christmas ornaments for her family. She adored her birds and well-loved dog, Little Lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Carmen Rohrbaugh and Pamela McClamma; her husband, Roger Fackler; her daughter, Linda High; and her grandson, Dustin Fackler.
Phyllis leaves behind a sister, Marilyn Reinig; three sons, Kevin Fackler (Kathy), Calvin Fackler (Dixie), and Ron Fackler; six grandchildren, Dawn Laguna (Jason), Stephanie Loving (Nathan), Katrina Watson (Nathan), Nikki Plank (Nathan), Kandice Geeraedts (Nicholas), and Daniel Fackler; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date in Indiana.
