Linda Lou Pfennig, 78

May 12, 1947- July 11, 2025

Linda was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and passed away in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Linda was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised by her loving parents, Leroy and Wilma Lenardson. Linda was an avid dog lover and was accompanied by her beloved Lizzy until her death. She also loved horses, and as a child, she would go to her cousin's house to ride the horses.

When Linda was little, about 7 years old, the family bought a Plymouth station wagon. While they were on the way to visit family, Linda got too close to the tailgate, and it opened. Linda fell out but wasn't injured. Her brother Brian says that she was always a little accident-prone

Linda attended Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, Northeastern Junior High, and Kalamazoo Central High School.

Linda moved from Kalamazoo, Michigan to Florida in 1980 and lived there until her death.

Linda had always wanted to become an over-the-road truck driver and drive team with Jack. She surprised Jack by obtaining her CDL in 2003. She said many times that she loved her big truck. Linda came off the road with Jack in 2019.

At one time in Linda's life, she was a Meter Maid in Kalamazoo, MI.

Linda had many hobbies; she enjoyed taking care of plants, working puzzles, playing cards, and going to the senior center. When she was younger, she enjoyed water skiing.

Linda loved to volunteer and to help others. She volunteered at church and Gulfside Hospice in Dade City, FL.

Linda married the love of her life, Jack, on November 10, 1996, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Zephyrhills.

Linda was an active member of Citrus Grove Lutheran Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jack V. Pfennig, and beloved dog, Lizzy.

Sons, Franklin Cochran of Zephyrhills, Andrew Cochran of Dover, Florida.

Siblings, Brian Lenardson (Paula) of Portage, MI, and Kathie Brainard (Chuck) of Zephyrhills, Florida.

Brother-in-law, Steven Pfennig (Stacy) of Zephyrhills, Florida.
