Linda Jane Drought Pietrasz, age 74, of Medina, OH, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2024.
Linda was born on June 17, 1949, in Oil City, PA, and was adopted as a baby by Basil and Charlotte
Drought of Geneva, OH.
She was a beloved wife and mother. Linda is survived by her husband of many
years, Martin Joseph Pietrasz, and their two sons, Brett Pietrasz (Jeph) and Blake Pietrasz (Laura).
Linda graduated from high school and went on to have a fulfilling career in administration at Medina
Hospital and On the Clock Care. She retired after many years of dedicated service.
Linda had a passion for shopping, particularly at craft shows and Amish stores. She also had a deep love
for her dogs, Sadie and Pistol Pete, and never met a dog she didn't like. Linda was known for her warm
personality, often befriending strangers and making people laugh.
She will be greatly missed by her loving extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 12pm- 2pm at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted Ohio 44070. Followed by a funeral service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bennetts Corners Community United Methodist Church in Linda's memory.
Rest in peace, Linda. You will be forever in our hearts.
