Born on February 21, 1952, Linda's life was an enchanting symphony of charisma, adventure, and boundless generosity. A native of South Carolina, her zest for life led her to Wellington, Kansas, where she created a home filled with love, laughter. With a spirit as vibrant as the gardens she tenderly nurtured, Linda was a beacon of positivity, her infectious cheerfulness and radiant smile were the heart of every gathering.
A homemaker by trade, Linda put as much love and care into her family and friends as she did her beautiful gardens. This spirited woman wasn't just a lover of people; she held an immense affection for animals, especially her cherished pets. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her love for the outdoors, and her generous nature was reflected in her readiness to lend a hand or share a kind word whenever it was needed. She enjoyed going fishing and hunting with her brother when they were young and always hated wearing shoes. Linda's vibrant personality was balanced with an endearing streak of mischief, adding a delightful spark to her character.
Linda's memory will be cherished by her partner, Scott Riggs and daughter, Tracy Wike.
She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Amy.
There are no services planned at this time as cremation has taken place.
In memory of Linda, memorial donations can be made to the Wellington Humane Society, P.O. Box 494, Wellington, Kansas 67152. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home during normal business hours.
