Linda Jean Rivera

Linda Jean Rivera, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and cherished friend, passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on February 15, 1952, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the treasured daughter of the late Cloyd W. and Laverne M. Antill (nee Hafer). Linda spent her early years in Cleveland, where she blossomed into the sharp-witted social butterfly known for her warmth and infectious laughter.

Linda dedicated 45 years of her life to the restaurant industry as a waitress, starting her journey as a car-hop at Manner's Big Boy. Her love for connecting with people made her a cherished figure among customers and colleagues alike. Known for her vibrant spirit, Linda's home became a welcoming gathering place for family and friends, filled with love and laughter. Linda had an incredible talent for making candy, especially her adored fudge, which she loved to share with family and friends, bringing joy to those around her.

Linda's family includes four daughters, Jackie Zielinski (Tom), Heather Woodson, Cary Henry (Rob) and Sandi Woodson; her son, Javier Rivera; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Shane, Michael, Jacob, James, Jackson and Emily; three great grandchildren, Neveah, William and Jeremy; three brothers, Ted (Connie), Bill and the late Larry Antill; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 17 at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted. Memorials may be forwarded to the Alzheimer's Association.
