LINDA DELL ROGERS

On the morning of Tuesday, December 23, 2025, Linda Dell Rogers of Vero Beach, Florida passed from this earth to join her late husband, Larry, in heaven.

Linda was born in Levelland, Texas in 1940, the second child to Carl & Frances Reed. She graduated from Whitharral High School in Whitharral, Texas in 1958. She then attended Lubbock Christian College where she met her husband, Larry Don Rogers. She married Larry in 1960 eventually settling in Joelton, Tennessee with their three sons. While in Tennessee, she spent her time raising her three boys, managing the family business and serving God as a dedicated member of Joelton Church of Christ.

After the passing of her beloved husband, Larry, Linda retired and moved to Vero Beach to be closer to family where she became a member of the Vero Beach Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Frances Reed; her husband, Larry and her sister, Carlene Thompson.

She is survived by her sons; Les (Lourdes), Layne (Dawn) and David (Vikki) as well as five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

I Thessalonians 4:14-18, "For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words." (ESV)
