Ola B. Coe

Ola B. Coe, 94, of Bristol, beloved widow of the late Ronald K. Coe, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at Shady Oaks Assisted Living of Bristol. Ola was born in Abbeville, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Kate Benton. She grew up in Alabama and married her husband Ronald who was in the Air Force. They moved here to Bristol in 1955 and settled down to begin their family. Ola retired from Bristol Hospital as a billing specialist. After retirement she moved to Vero Beach, FL to enjoy the warmth and the sand. She returned to Bristol in 1998. Ola was a talented seamstress who loved to make curtains, clothing and knitting. She also was an avid reader and liked to travel in her younger years. Ola is survived by her 2 children; her son Kenneth Coe and his partner Carol Sawyer of Westbrook and by her daughter Karen Charette of Bristol. She is also survived by her granddaughter Nicole Judd and her husband Charles and also by two great-grandchildren: Chase Judd and Bentley Judd and by several cousins. All services for Ola will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ola's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter, 10 Executive Dr. Suite 202, Farmington, CT 06032.
