It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Christine Ruyle, 78, formerly of Irving, TX. Linda passed away peacefully, Monday, November 3, 2025, at College Park Rehabilitation Center in Weatherford, TX. She was born on December 29, 1946, in Urbana, Ohio. She was the daughter of Amos and Virginia Kathleen Dunn Osborne.
Linda was a devout Christian and proud member of Grace Pointe church in Irving. She also had a passion for teaching special education students and had a career that spanned over 20 years as a teacher's aide with the Irving Independent School District.
She loved shopping, Mexican food and anything chocolate! And there are many friends and loved ones that spent time enjoying these things with her over the years.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time in the chapel on Thursday. Burial service will follow at the Oak Grove Memorial Garden in Irving.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Tony Don and wife, Doris Ruyle, Terry Wayne and wife Zynell Ruyle, and Wendy Yvette and husband, Charles McClure; grandchildren, Anthony Ruyle, Tori Ruyle, Lauren and husband, Aaron Gonzales, Kaylea and husband, J.D. Jenkins; Great grandchildren, Kaycee Gonzales and Talon Gonzales.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Ruyle and grandchild Jamie Lee Ruyle.
Linda's family has requested that memorial donations be made to Grace Pointe Church, 121 S. Story Road, Irving, TX 75060.
