Diann Teel

Diann Teel leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication to family. She is survived by her children, Debra Cameron, Brad Teel (Jane), and Denise Fuller (Dave). Forever cherished and remembered by her seven grandchildren, Michael (Bailee), Brandon and Kevin Wade; Bradley Teel and Jordan Teel Dorchester (Austin); and Darah and Dawson Fuller. Her memory will live on with her four great-grandchildren, Madison Wade; Bowen and Briar Wade; and Elle Dorchester. She also leaves behind her sister Kitty Jenkins and brother Bill Jenkins. Diann is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Ben Teel, and her parents Roy and Cora Williams.
Diann was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was active in school, enjoyed being in the band, playing piano, and spending time with her many friends. As an adult, she was a Registered Nurse, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and worked as a school nurse in Irving ISD. She loved nursing, and taught CPR to countless individuals over the years. In 1992, she was honored as one of The Great 100 Nurses in DFW.
Diann loved God, her family, and friends. She was the glue that kept everyone together. One of the things that made her happiest was spending time with her grandchildren. Known to them as "Mommy D", she filled their lives with love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories. She also taught them how to play poker. She enjoyed travelling and took numerous trips over the years. She also loved entertaining at their vacation home on Cedar Creek Lake. She was a gifted hostess and their parties were legendary. She lived life to the fullest through the 91 years she had on this earth. As a Christian and long-time member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, she is no doubt with her Savior now.
