AUBURN – Linda Lee (Hubbard) Saucier, 77, of Gorham, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Clover Manor in Auburn. She was born on September 8, 1947, in Portland, the daughter of Frank Kenneth Hagan Sr, and Patricia G. (Reagan) Hagan. She received her education in Portland schools and graduated from Deering High School.
On December 17, 1976, Linda married the love of her life, Ronald K. Saucier. Born and raised in Maine, she eventually moved to Palm Bay, Florida with her husband. Though she returned to Maine later in life, she always considered Florida her true home.
Linda was as kind and loving as she was outspoken and sassy-never one to hold back her opinion. She was a proud feminist and lifelong advocate for women's rights. She was passionate about reading, constantly expanding her mind. Her love for dogs was a defining part of her life-her home was never complete without a furry friend by her side. Affectionately known as Lady, Mom, Nana, and the "Toilet Paper Fairy," she couldn't bear the thought of anyone going without basic necessities like food or paper goods.
She worked as a manager at a movie theater, where she often hired those experiencing homelessness, ensuring their basic needs were met and giving them a chance to get back on their feet. One of her proudest roles was serving as the Pastor's secretary at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Florida.
Linda had a gift for making any space beautiful. She kept an immaculate home, had a keen eye for interior design, and brought organization and care to everything she did.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Saucier; her daughter, Jennifer (Jenna) McDonald of Auburn; two brothers, Frank Kenneth Hagan Jr. (Ken) and his fiancée Tamie Richardson of Windham, and Kevin Hagan of South Portland. She also leaves behind her grandchild, Ryanne McAteer and partner Alex Bittues, as well as one great-grandchild, Asher Bittues.
Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Inurnment will take place the following day at Evergreen Cemetery in Portland at 1pm.
Arrangements are in the care of Albert & Burpee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 253 Pine Street, Lewiston. 207-782-7201.
