Linda Joyce Scheel, age 71 of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at Resolute Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas. Linda was born on March 20, 1954 and was a lifetime resident of New Braunfels, Texas. She was born to her father Charles "Charlie" Richter Sr. and mother Mary "Jewel." She was a graduate of Canyon High School class of 1972, and worked for and retired from Motorola in Seguin, Texas, after many years of service. Linda enjoyed sewing, tending to her chickens, and spoiling her beloved dog. However her greatest joy in life was her time spent with her friends and family; especially her children, grandsons, niece, great nephews, and great niece. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and granddaughter Kirstie Scheel. Survivors include the love of her life and husband of 53 years, Robert Scheel; son Robert "Robbie" Scheel and wife Kerry; daughter Kristy Scheel; grandchildren, Preston and Connor Scheel; brother, Charles 'Chuck' Richter Jr. and wife Debbie; and sister-in-law, Darline Preiss; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Linda will be greatly missed by her family and friends, as she has been reunited with her loved ones. A celebration of life will be held on April 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm at Windmill Farm Winery located at 9111 Huber Rd, Seguin, TX 78155.
