Linda Schrader Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home - Lowellville on Jan. 29, 2026.
Linda Belle Schrader, 84, of Lowellville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman, surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 28, 1941, in Uniontown, Indiana, Linda was a daughter of the late William Lee and Edna Marie (Young) Coker. She was a graduate of Crothersville High School in Indiana.

On May 4, 1963, Linda married the love of her life, Richard Harry Schrader. Together, they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage until his passing in 2023.

Linda was a faithful member of Lowellville United Methodist Church prior to its closing. She enjoyed pressing her luck at the casino, playing cards with family, visiting loved ones in Indiana, and crocheting blankets and making quilts for her family. She could often be found cheering on her favorite team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Judy) Schrader and Norman (Leslie) Schrader; her grandchildren, Richard (Anna) Schrader II, Jacque Schrader, Tyler Crasi, Dylan Schrader, Cody Compton, and Geno Millione; and her great-grandchildren, Richard K. Schrader III, Danielle Schrader, Giavonna Morucci, Beau Crasi, and Eloise Crasi. She also leaves her sisters, Marian Toppe and Wilma Jean Forbes, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her sons, Donald and Douglas Schrader; her granddaughter, Caitlyn Compton; her siblings, Elmo "Sonny" Coker and William "Bud" Coker; and her infant sisters, Joy Y. Coker and Watonna J. Coker.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman and Mercy Health Hospice by Compassus for their compassion and wonderful care.

Private services were held for the family. Linda was laid to rest beside her husband at Lowellville Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville.
