Martin Weimer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home - Lowellville on Mar. 7, 2026.
Lowellville – Martin Joseph Weimer, Jr., 55, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Martin, affectionately known as "Marty" to his family and friends, was born on August 12, 1970, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Martin J. Weimer, Sr. and Patricia A. (Lumpp) Weimer.

He was a 1988 graduate of Ursuline High School and remained a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.

Marty worked for several years as a lineman for AT&T until a four-wheeler accident left him disabled. Despite life's challenges, he remained strong in spirit and devoted to the people and passions he loved most.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed four-wheeling and investing in the stock market. Marty especially cherished the time he spent with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kevin M. Weimer, at home; his sister, Renee Weeden of Lowellville; his fiancée, Lilly Foltz of Lowellville; and his niece, Amber Weeden.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, 131 E. Wood Street, Lowellville, Ohio. There are no calling hours.
