Linda (Reichenbach) Shier, 78, of Louisville, joined her husband Richard in Heaven on February 6th, 2025. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Linda was a lifetime practical joker who shared and taught so many the importance of humor. She had a generous heart for those in need or suffering. She loved animals, especially her pet dogs, cats, and donkeys. She enjoyed making quilts with her Sassy Scissors, family and eating out with many dear friends and family. Linda loved her family deeply, especially Avery, and she enjoyed spending time with them sharing all she had. Linda is proceeded in death by her husband, Richard, who she was married to for 42 years. She is survived by daughters Tracey Daugherty (Jason), Wendy Thomas, son Gary Shier (Jane), 6 grandchildren Taylor Raub (Harrison), Madison Gilbert (Matthew), Regan Coventry (Dillon), Kathleen Shier, Seth Shier and Zachary Shier and one great- grandchild Avery Gilbert. Calling hours are at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville on Monday, February 10th from 5-7 pm. There will be a private family service and burial on Tuesday, February 11th. In lieu of funeral flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Stark County Humane Society in honor of Linda's love for animals.
