Linda Joann Smith, 75, of Florence, passed away, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at home. She was born August 4, 1950, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Joseph E. Losacker and Marcetta Suddarth Losacker. She was a retired Meat Department Manager for over 30 years. She was of the Catholic Faith. She loved gardening, ceramics, Longaberger basket collecting, Fenton Milk Glass collecting and was a great cook. She was married on March 29, 1969 to her loving husband of 56 years Johnny L. Smith. Linda is survived by her husband Johnny L. Smith; son: Jon (Cindy) Smith and her two granddaughters: MaKenzie and Harper; sisters: Lori (Ralph) Coker and Marlene (Randy) Miller; brother: James (LaRue) Hardewig;and brother in law David Smith and wife Pat. Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Ann Zehnder. Funeral services will be held 12:00PM Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held Monday from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, 41015. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Boone County Animal Shelter, 5620 Idlewild Rd., Burlington, KY 41005. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Smith family.
