Linda Stovall Obituary

Linda Carol Nix Stovall was born on September 17, 1943, in a small town in Louisiana, and passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on August 15, 2025, at the age of 81. She was the eldest of six children, and from an early age she learned the value of hard work and perseverance while helping her family work the land. Her grace and determination guided her through life, and she graduated near the top of her class.

Linda married and was blessed with four daughters, each of whom she loved dearly. Though life brought both blessings and challenges, her unwavering faith in God carried her through every season. She gave much of herself as a caregiver to one of her daughters, showing strength, courage, and love.

A talented seamstress, Linda had a lifelong gift for creating beauty with her hands. She sewed elegant garments and poured her heart into making thoughtful gifts for family and friends. Many in her community treasure the handmade pillows she lovingly created-each one a reflection of her care and generosity.

Linda's faith was the foundation of her life. As a devoted member of Northside Assembly of God, she found both family and purpose in her church community. She had a heart for women in need and became a spiritual mother to many. Her devotion to the Lord, her church, and the people she loved will be remembered as her lasting legacy.

Linda will be remembered for her beauty, her strength, and her giving spirit. She leaves behind an enduring mark on her family, her church, and all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on her birthday, September 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Northside Assembly of God, with a reception immediately following in the fellowship hall.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." - Revelation 21:4

Though deeply missed, her family rejoices in the peace of knowing Linda is home with her Savior.
