Pooler, Georgia – Linda Lee Strevel, 78, of Pooler, Georgia, formerly of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Graveside rites will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens, with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating.
Born May 16, 1947, in Miami, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Loice Thurston Baker and the late Thelma Gertrude “Bonnie” Wilson Baker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Smith “Smitty” Strevel; brother, Ronald T. Baker; and great-niece, Jessica Baker.
She was a sales associate at Winn-Dixie and later at Wal-Mart, was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Hutchins; sister, Patti Levenson; niece and nephew, Kathie Westman (Andrew) and Scott Baker; great-nieces and nephews, Eric Baker, Joshua Westman, Christopher Westman and Deshaun Hawkins; as well as other extended family and friends.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
