It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Mary Trask, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who departed from this world on October 6, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on May 8, 1958, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Linda was the cherished daughter of Ralph and Beatrice Squire, who have preceded her in death, along with her devoted husband, David Trask. Linda's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her deep appreciation for the natural world. She is survived by her three adoring daughters, Christina Anderson, Mary Trask, and Sarah Trask, who carry forward her spirit and kindness. Additionally, she is mourned by her two grandsons, who were a source of endless joy and pride in her life. Linda leaves behind two siblings, Barbara Havens and Ralph Squire, who will forever remember her warmth and strength. A proud Taurus, Linda was known for her steadfast nature and determination. Throughout her life, she embraced her role as a mother and homemaker, dedicating herself to creating a loving and nurturing environment for her family. Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, love, and an abundance of cherished pets, especially her beloved wolves. Linda had a profound connection to animals, treating each pet as if they were her own child, and her compassion for all living creatures shone brightly throughout her life. Linda was also a faithful member of The Salvation Army Church, where she contributed her time and energy to serve her community and spread kindness wherever she went. Her involvement in the church not only enriched her faith but also allowed her to connect with others who shared her beliefs and values. As we remember Linda, we celebrate her vibrant spirit, her deep love for family, and her unwavering commitment to the causes she believed in. She touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, love, and dedication to her family and community. Linda's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. In honoring her life, the family invites all who were touched by Linda's warmth and generosity to join them in celebrating her remarkable journey. The love she shared, the lessons she imparted, and the memories created will forever be a guiding light in the lives of her daughters, grandsons, and all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Linda. Your spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those you loved.
