Linda Faye (Johnson) Unruh, 90, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the Moundridge Manor. She was born on July 8, 1935 in Moundridge to Elden and Dessie (Koehn) Johnson.
She attended South Union School.
She was a member of the Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Galva.
Linda was united in marriage to Elmer Unruh on July 20, 1952 at the Lone Tree Mennonite Church. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2003.
She was a devoted homemaker.
Linda is survived by her children, Barbara (Gilbert) Unruh of Galva, Dan (Gail) Unruh of Galva, and Pat (Mitch) Unruh of Hiawatha; eleven grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnnie (Anna) Johnson of Atwood, IL, Orval (Myra) Johnson of Moundridge, and Stanley (Marilee) Johnson of Galva; and sisters, Barbara Unruh and Jeanne (Sherwin) Unruh of Galva, Joyce (Warren) Wiggers and Vera (Larry) Ratzlaff of Moundridge, Beverly Holderman of Scotia, NE, Janis (Don) Boeckner of Greeley, NE, and Susan (Mike) Reimer of Leland, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; parents, Elden and Dessie Johnson; sister, Gertrude Unruh; and brothers-in-law, Clayton Unruh, Stanely Unruh and Marvin Holderman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church, Galva. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, October 11, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Moundridge Manor in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
