Linda Marie Wahrer was born to Arnold and Amber (Albin) Wahrer on July 21, 1947, at the Plainview Hospital. She attended and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1965. After graduating high school, she attended Business College in Des Moines, IA. After graduating Business School, she went to work in Norfolk for several years, then to the Plainview medical clinic, then at Phyllis Beck Attorney in Creighton and at the time of her death she had her own bookkeeping business in Creighton.
Linda was a member of the United Congregational Church in Brunswick where she was a Sunday School teacher for several years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Brunswick division where she was currently serving as the President, and we cannot forget how much she loved being a Member of the Red Hat Society. She was the biggest Cubs fan, when she was home you could always find her watching them play or there was a football game on. When she was not watching sports on TV, she was in the stands cheering on her nieces and nephews and later her great nieces and nephews.
Linda was always up for a game of cards and when she would play 10-point pitch you better be willing to shoot for the moon if you were her partner. She shared many words of encouragement, wisdom and most importantly she shared her love with everyone.
Linda is survived by her sister Karen Hoferer, Creighton, brother Edwin (Tuana) Wahrer. Brunswick, 7 nieces and nephews, and 16 great nieces and nephews.
She was greeted at heaven’s gates by her parents Arnold and Amber Wahrer, brother-in- law Maynard Hoferer and many uncles and aunts.
