Christopher L. Hintz, 55, of Plainview, Nebraska passed away on August 25, 2025 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. No service is planned at the present time. Christopher Lee Hintz was born on July 7, 1970 to Dennis and LaVonne (Block) Hintz in Creighton, Nebraska. He grew up on farms through Nebraska where he found his love for raising animals and gardening. On February 11, 1995, he was united in marriage to Karen Brandt in Creighton. They were blessed with Eight Children Brandon, Mark, Crystal, Jeff, Scott, Darrin, Charley, and Emma. He enjoyed raising birds, and gardening growing his own fruits and vegetables for plenty that he shared with friends and family. He raised chickens, ducks, pigs, rabbits, and sheep throughout the years. In his earlier years, he worked at a dairy farm, his dads cleaning service, and managed multiple hog confinements throughout Northeast Nebraska Before purchasing a small farm of his own Northwest of Plainview in 2000, where he lived out the remainder of his life with his loving wife and children.
Survived by his wife of 30 years Karen Hintz of Plainview, NE. Children: Cody and wife Leah Samec of Des Moines, lowa, Cassandra and husband Bret Lee of Norfolk, Nebraska, Brandon, Crystal, Jeffrey, Scott, Darrin, Charley, and Emma Hintz of Plainview, Nebraska, Mark Hintz of Norfolk, Nebraska. Two grandchildren Noah Lee and Abigail Lee. Sisters Amy and husband Jason Epley of North Carolina and Michelle and husband Greg Fickler of Norfolk, Nebraska.
Preceded in death by his Parents Dennis and Lavonne (Block) Hintz and grandparents.
