Linda Walker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Culpepper Funeral Home - Kosciusko on Mar. 16, 2026.
Linda Flanagan Walker, 85, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at North Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Meridian.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Kosciusko First Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Barry Corbett will officiate.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Beth Sharp (David) and Kim Walker; her granddaughter, Sera Beth Briggs (Brandon); two great-granddaughters, Madison Walker and Milly Grayce; and her sister, Susan Collins.

Linda retired as a bookkeeper for Petrolane Gas and Tyler, King, and Ryder Insurance. She was a faithful member of Kosciusko First Baptist Church.

Above all, Linda was a devoted and selfless wife, loving mother, and deeply caring grandmother and great-grandmother. She and her husband, Bill, shared 66 years of marriage built on love, commitment, and faith. She loved her family with her whole heart and spent her life caring for them, always placing their needs before her own. Linda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and the way she faithfully cared for the people around her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James A. "Jake" and Edna Burkes Flanagan, and her beloved husband, Bill Walker.

Though the past five months apart from Bill felt far too long for those who knew how deeply they loved each other, her family finds comfort in knowing they are now reunited, once again, after a lifetime together.

Her legacy of love, devotion, and faith will live on in the lives of the family she cherished so dearly.
