Linda Grey Rudd Wicker, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, she was born October 9, 1939 to the late Henry Clarence and Ida Elizabeth Taylor Rudd.
Linda and her family attended Hawfield’s Presbyterian Church for many years and most recently St. Marks Church. She was a graduate of Altamahaw Ossippee High School and went on to work for Bellsouth (AT&T) for over 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and eating out, but most of her joy was found in spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Lisa Dawn Wicker, Michelle Diane Davis (Sean Flynn), Kimberly Anne Starnes; grandson, Blaine Cooper (Danae); granddaughters, Jasmine Pate (Brandon), Maya Pheil (Nicholas), Jade Kiera Maine (Jake), Whitney Davis; great grandchildren, Gavin Cooper, Shaylee Cooper, Arthur Pate, Aelyn Pheil, soon to be Baby Cooper and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 2:00 -4:00pm on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends at the funeral home and other times at her daughter Lisa’s home.
