Lindell Harold Wright, 93, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died May 27, 2023, in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. He was born on July 28, 1929, to Osby Auburn Wright and Fannie Wright in Paris, Arkansas. Lindell married the love of his life, Berniece Dixon, on December 25, 1947, in Paris, Arkansas. When he was younger, he enjoyed woodworking and working on his vehicles. His greatest joy was his family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Berniece Wright, his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his children, Lynn Townsend of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Mona Harris and husband Joe of Rogers, Arkansas, Diane Lau of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David Wright and wife Melene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Sid Townsend Jr. and wife Regina of Munich, Germany, Rachel Townsend and partner Jeremey Adams of Little Rock, Arkansas, George Harris and wife Jana of Rogers, Arkansas, Johnathan Harris of Cave Springs, Arkansas, James Harris and wife Amy of Rogers, Arkansas, Emily Lau of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sophia Lau of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Heidi Lau of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Amanda Lau of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Luke Lau and wife Victoria of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Josh Wright of Fort Worth, Texas, and Amy Sholtess and husband Bryan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nine great-grandchildren, Dawson Harris, Lucy Harris, Drew Harris, Ellie Harris, Timmy Harris, Tessa Wright, Jacob Wright, Samuel Sholtess, and Karly Sholtess; and one sister, Anna Kimes and husband Tom.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
