Publish in a newspaper
Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Cremation care has been selected, and interment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, OK. Memorials are suggested to Cure PSP or First Presbyterian Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Linden was born on March 6, 1944, in Enid, OK, the son of Fred and LaVon (Chambers) Kemp. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Phillips University. Linden was a manager for JCPenney's in Atchison when they first moved to town then he became the Director of Marketing for the Kansas Corrections Industry for twenty-two years. He served for nine years for the Oklahoma National Guard. Linden was a simple and quiet man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, he also had a love for traveling, having visited all fifty states and numerous countries. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Linden married Jane Louise Thorp on June 24, 1966, in Enid, OK, she survives of the home. He is also survived by a son Greg and Bronwyn Kemp, Shawnee, KS, a daughter Jody and Ben Whitney, Olathe, KS, three grandchildren, Julia Kemp, Delaney (Calvin) Morgan and Carter Kemp.
He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Jerry Kemp.
