Lindle R. Malenfant

Lindle, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and faithful follower of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 77 years old.

Lindle was married to the love of his life, Brenda, for over 57 years. Their marriage was a beautiful example of love, faith, and lifelong partnership. Together they raised two children: their daughter Kellie Malenfant, and their son Randy and daughter-in-law Jennifer Malenfant. He was also a proud and cherished grandfather to Caitlyn and her husband Josiah Walker.

One of fifteen siblings, Lindle grew up in a large and close-knit family. He lived a life grounded in humility, service, and joy. He had a passion for bowling and spent many happy hours at the lanes with friends and family.

His faith was at the core of who he was. He served faithfully in two church communities, taking on roles such as song leader, youth director, greeter, board member, and was willing to step in to help where needed. He loved to talk with people about what Jesus had done in his life - and what Jesus could do in theirs.

Though his journey with cancer included many hospital visits and challenges, he never lost his gratitude, his warmth, his humor, or his deep trust in the Lord. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the compassionate nurses at the Chemo Infusion Center and to his dedicated oncologist, Dr. Brian Byrne, for their exceptional care and kindness throughout his treatments. Our family is also very grateful to the hospice nurses and aides for their compassionate care and the support they provided during his final months.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, steady faith, and the love he gave so freely to his family and community. His heart was open, and always ready to listen, help, or to just simply be present for anyone from all walks of life- whether it be family, friends, or strangers. His love for his family was constant and unwavering, and his presence will be deeply missed in every gathering and memory we hold.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Lindle's Funeral Service will begin promptly at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Eric Cappelli, from Bethel New England Church presiding. Lindle will be laid to rest privately.
