Joseph Paul Malenfant

Joseph "Joe" Paul Malenfant, 64, of East Windsor, beloved husband of Luce (Morissette) Malenfant, passed away peacefully surrounded by his entire family on Thursday, June 13, 2024, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born and raised in Hartford, the son of the late John Paul and Helen (Ramsey) Malenfant.
Joe was a jack of all trades, master of none. He worked for many years as the assistant parts manager at Scranton Motors, working right up until his illness, one month ago. He was best known for his sense of humor and his sarcasm.
Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Luce Malenfant of East Windsor, his three daughters, Crista A. Malenfant and her partner Zachary Payne of East Windsor, Jennifer M. Valentine and her husband Charles Valentine III of Bristol, TN, Heather R. Malenfant of East Windsor. He also leaves behind his pride and joy grandchildren, Chuck, Mikael and Natalia Valentine, his siblings, Linda A. Schwensfier of Tolland, John E. Malenfant and his wife Pat of West Hartford and Lisa M. Scott of Manchester.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother-in-law's, Robert P. Schwensfier and Bill T. Scott.
Joe's family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 2-5PM at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT 06095. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, beginning at 11:00AM at Carmon's. Burial will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, 60 Rye Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016.
