Lino Okello Obituary
With sadness we announce that Lino Okello passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the age of 59 years.
He was a beloved husband, father, and brother.
Lino was born in Akobo town in South Sudan in 1965. He attended Akobo Elementary School in 1972 and completed his higher education in Khartoum in 1990. He worked as a Masonry in Khartoum, Sudan before immigrating to Canada. Recently, while in Canada Lino worked for Eagle Energy Inc. in the oil field.
Lino is survived by his wife, Agwa Olok, his seven children, and one brother.
A Funeral Service will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Services, Forest Lawn Chapel, (4121 17 Avenue, Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will take place following the funeral service at Rockyview Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Road NE, Calgary, AB T1X 1G2).
