Palmyra,
Linwood A. Cookson Jr., 57 of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Linwood was born on November 6, 1967 in Hartland a son of Linwood and Mary Cookson.
We were so proud of Linwood when he earned his master's in business in 2015. Linwood enjoyed being outside the smell of trees in the spring always made him happy. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing and 4 wheeling with Rachel, Brandon and friends. Linwood, Rachel and Brandon lived in wyoming for many years where they loved the mountains, and sight seeing wherever you could drive, he always loved seeing something new. They traveled as often as they could even if it was just a day trip to go to a new restaurant.
Linwood is survived by his wife Rachel, Son Brandon, "the kids", Sister Lori, Derek and Sara.
We would like to extend a special thank you our nephew Mathew, his family and dear friend Ted Brown who were there when Rachel could not.
Linwood was predeceased by his father Linwood Sr, Mother Mary, Sister Marilee.
In Lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to your nearest animal rescue.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11;00 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery in Hartland.
